Could it be? O_O"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nice! Like asked a bunch before. You break it off feeders yet? You should have no problem at that size and yes, that is definitely an armatus. A tat would not get that big that fast and the adipose fin matches the tail on tats. Not on army's.

No, and I am not planning to break it off from feeders.

It's going to be goldfish > small minnow > medium minnow > large minnow > pike minnow > shad > then maybe culling koi

I want to see it to hit 20" in the first year, 30" in the second and 36"+ in the third! :D

indoor pond for the 30 inches? I thought you didn't have room for this armatus lol.

Haha that'll be badass! It seems like the most massive armatus are always in japan and I always see their tanks FULL of feeders. Hope he gets that big!

Because during that time I didn't have a good job, so the future of the fish is unknown. (huge fish tank + live feeders cost a lot!!!!)

Now I got a decent job, when it becomes permanent, I will move to a bigger house with a 96" x 36" x 30" tank for the 30"+ fish! :D

For the time being, a 180G tank will do! :D

Got any pics of him in the 180g?

I am not sure if the three polyterus (2 weeksii, 1 teugelsi) spooked him at night or maybe he doesn't use to open tank design. He just stay at the corner for most of the time now.

I just added a small goliath tiger fish, I hope it will boost the armatus' confident of swimming around! :D Also, I hope it doesn't get eaten overnight because it is only 2/3 of the size of the armatus and the polypterus

Nice thread and fish man.

thanks!

/update

1) I need to redo the background! O-O"

2) The Armatus constant rubbing its nose, so it's kinda crap up at the moment! :irked:

3) Size comparison between the Armatus and the GATF :naughty:
