My Midevil didn't lay her monthly eggs and I've notice for a few days that her tube has been sticking out and looking as if she was trying to but stop. She eats normally swims normally and plays around with me. I just want to know if she's ok and if there is anything I should do to help her.

Going on a week and it's still there. I've used tetra safe start to help fix my cycle so the numbers for my parameters are a little wonky.

pH: 7.8-8.0
Ammonia: <.25ppm
Nitrite:<.25ppm (I've never had a nitrite reading until using TSS it's went up to .50 but went down to .25 in about 24hrs)
Nitrate: <.40ppm (around the 10-20ppm can't really tell using the chart)

Tested using API Freshwater Master Test Kit

She still active and acting perfectly normal could she possibly be eggbound?? I don't want to try and help push the eggs out if I don't have too.

What size aquarium is she in ? What is your water change routine? How do you maintain your filter? Are there any other inhabitants in there with her?

70gallons. 20% every week. I have an aquaclear 50 and 110 and rinse the media in tank water when cleaning. And she is by herself.

How many times do you feed ?
I feed here twice a day about 7 Hikari Gold Pellets. Every now and again I give her 3-4 Omega One FD Krill and once a week on Friday Omega One Bloodworms. On Fridays I only feed once a day and only the Bloodworms.

Cut back on the food and increase % of water changes this should help your parameters stabilize.
