Could this be a new osphronemus species!

Osphronemus septemfasciatus. I can find hardly any info out there about them apart from the fact they exist. It is possible it could be one of these but impossible to verify.

Take a close up of the mouth at least then if it is a EE then there would be a picture on the net somewhere of the mouth;)

Umm i think that it could be that other species just cant find any info.

If that red one is the septemfasciatus then yours is not red enough to be one.

We'll both just have to sit back and relax in the knowledge that they are giant gouramis of some sort:ROFL:

Judging by my somewhat unsuccessful attempt to find another EE owner, unless your turns out to be one that is, maybe we should start trying to find one of these now You know, just in case;)

Im just gonna enjoy em for what they are LOL, at least i know that i hvae 2 RTGG. LOL.
