could this work for about months?

i might me getting a 10-20 gallon tank... im going to put a slate rock on the left side.. a small flower pot a small fake plant and a few rocks. i will have 1in of white pool sand. i want to put a small female convict. a female Archocentrus nanoluteus. a small male firemouth (when he grows up ill put him in a 75) and a male HRP (blue convict).. do you think this would work untell my 40 gallon comes?

ok buddy how long have you been keeping them? im 13 and positive i know more about cichlids then you.. tj you know this is going to be the tank my mom gets me. so about 2 1/2 months later ill move them to my 75?
