I can see that it would be confusing in the pics, but since it is blue and not a white, it rules out male auratus
m. auratus, probably started off yellow as maturity approaches colours fade to blue black (ink stain look) after few more months colours redefine into gorgeous blue and black stripes. possibly slight hybrid as the markings on the face are more pronounced that my pure ones
