Countdown for transfering my xingus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
C'mon!! You got this!! I have done this plenty of times with 16 in bass!! This makes me wish sooo much that I didnt lose all those bass almost a year ago...

I put in a whole bunch of gravel. I'm too old for this! The tank was very cloudy from the freshly rinsed substrate but surprisingly the tank was clear by the time I got back from dinner.
I am so done with this overflow box!!!! I wanted to lower the water level of this tank because the brokos were bumping their heads on the lid. To get more flow I removed three bulkhead fittings near the top of the box and replumbed everything. This only lowered the water 1/2". I'm afraid the small xingus might get sucked into the box because the holes are open. Screening the hole put the water back up again. Pump is sucking air because the flow is not feeding quick enough. The sightly increased flow sucks the floating pellets into the box. The noise from the box is unbareable. This box will be abandoned tomorrow. I'm just going to use the closed loop system so I can lower the water accordingly as you can see in the picture below.
Sorry guys I'm not going to move the xingus today.

The bass have spines in their fins that tear right through the bags..
