We'll be running our new touch pool at a 4-5 times/hr turn over. It's gonna me moving through that thing. We're using a set of 4 sandfilters, a big RK2 skimmer, UV and ozone to help keep the water up to par.
Ozone? Not familiar with that.

If you are going to keep cownose, I'd stick to an all cownose or all shark/ray tank.
Parrots like to bite fins.

I'll post more on it later... heading out the door right now.
I think there are a couple of posts/threads on here if you wanna search before I get back.

You could add pilotfish, which is my plan - they do get BIG eventually, but they're very pretty, and are naturally found with sharks/rays (they swim in front, hence the name - pilotfish).

Yeah, I have been looking at Pilotfish as well as Golden Trevally, and since I cant seem to find a source for Pilotfish I will probably go with the trevally. Porkfish are another species that I have been looking at aswell.

Any ideas on where I should look to find Cownose Rays for sale?

Golden trevally = Pilotfish

Yukon, I may have source, how many do you want?

I would strongly recommend 4+ - I spent the afternoon/evening today talking with a couple of curators at the MBA regarding ray keeping/care, who specialize in swimming rays (batrays, eagle rays, etc). The gist I got was that without a school of at least 4, they'll be constantly stressed, and inevitably die. My two have been acting very oddly, and are sickly - currently in quarantine - hoping they recover in the QT tank with no other mates (the guitarfish is a bit aggressive). I've decided to hold off on replacement until my big tank is ready, and I can stock 6+
