Drove 300 miles to buy a 150 g tank. Seller had it full and operating. Got there with cash and its a 55 gallon and leaking everywhere. I was so pissed. I asked the seller 10 times is it a 150? Repeatedly told yes and it maybe bigger. This was the whole setup stand pumps and fish for 175.....waste of time.

Dont trust anyone that says its "x" Gallons... ask for dimensions and calculate the size. Sorry to hear you wasted so much gas.

Thats rough. I have had bad luck on craigslist too. Me and my wife went all the way out to a guys house to look at a rocking chair for our nursery and we called right before we got there and he said he already sold it..... lame.

I'm sorry, but you should have done your homework (and a lot more for that distance). The deal sounded very good though, and might be why you jumped the gun. Just another lesson learned.
