Dogs don't need to live in boxes 24/7, but there are more economical foods for them than turtles.

Every tank I call about on cl I ask for measurements first thing, if they are reluctant I just tell them good luck with their sale and move on.

yeah should of gotten pics and dimensions ive gotten lucky before of of craigslist guy told me it was a 125 gallon went to his house and saw it looked way to big for a 125 so i did the dimensions and calculated them on several sites and it turned out to be 150 but yeah if you gunna drive that far make sure!

Oh God that man is ridiculous with his outdated methods! Not to mention he kicks and chokes out dogs on tv *sigh* however if you cant supervise your dog, crating is a great way to keep it out of trouble when your busy doing something.
Also providing proper chew items and lots of exercise will keep your dog from acting a fool. Trust me I have to keep my Amstaff/American Bully mix busy all the time otherwise he drives me up the wall! He isnt a big chewer though so thats a plus!

I wholeheartedly disagree.
But that is another subject. Hopefully the op learned his lesson. There are some that don't learn their lesson until it happens x10 time.

I know the frustration. Want to hear some worse stories, people who buy a 55 gallon tank and pay premium because someone tells them its 150 gallon tank, lol. This guy who was supposed to swap me his 150 for a friends labor on his car... get the dims from him, hey buddy that is a 55. He's like no I paid 300 just for this tank, and with the custom stand and hood it was 1,000. He was a friend of a friends mom so I trust he believes it was a 150. Sadly he doesn't have the tank I want or the one he think is worth something, lol.

Yeah, thats tough man, Always Always, ask for the dimensions. Pics dont really do just neither.

LOL, when I started the hobby, my 10 gal was HUGE.
