Im doing this for the first time. Ive got tons of replies to things I put on to sell, whats the best way to keep track of the ppl interested and such. Seems you just gotta sort through them in your email and bite the bullet, anyways, any tips would be cool. Thanks.

I don't pay attention. I just tell them that the first to show up with cash gets it. Plain and simple.

^ :iagree:

i dont hold stuff for anybody. first come. first served. for all others, sorry!!

Pretty easy, not sure it it's suppose to be this hard. Tell them it's so much money and when your free and if they show up you get paid. If they don't which happens ALOT then move on.

No, its the first email I get from them that pisses me off. "is this item still available, please tell me shortly" I always get that, then you gotta say yeah it is as of right now. Ive just been saying, well whomever gets back to me first gets it.

I kind of dont want to just tell everyone to come over and the first one here gets it lol.

ive seen some listings that say "do not email me to ask if the item is available. once it's sold, this will be deleted asap. so if you see the listing, it's still available"

i do exactly this on all my posts ^. it's crazy how many people ask if i still have it and then don't respond back, even with the disclaimer; i just don't reply to them for being too stupid to read my full post!

i respond to everyone and tell them that i have multiple people interested and i give them my schedule. i let them know that it's 1st come 1st serve but they have to set a time with me 1st AND call me just before they come. if the 1st person doesn't show or "can't get there until next weekend" i move on to the next person who is willing to meet me soonest. if i scheduled someone and sold the animal in the meantime, i let them know when they call me back to confirm.:nilly:

and you get some frigging crackheads too. i had listed my dad's car for sale once, i get an email asking if it's still available. i said, yeah it is. the tweaker then replies back saying, great! can you find me some insurance quotes, my internet is really slow. i'm like really you damn two toed crack freak? :screwy:

she put a link in the email. i highlight it with my mouse and the URL is something totally different. god damn internet lowlifes.
