Craigslist Scammers

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
please post some real scams. like that guy who was selling a 55 gallon and saying it was a 150 and one dude driving 300 miles to go buy it.

The real scammers are the guys that offer to buy your car, and pay for it to ship to them. Here's how it goes:

-I'll send you a check for the full price of your car, plus $3,000 to ship it.
-You drop off your car and $3,000 to my "shipper".
-My "shipper" takes your car and $3,000 from you.
-You find out in about a week after you deposit my check that it's a fake check, and you lose your car + $3,000.

It might sound ridiculous, and you, being the savvy person you are, will never fall for it. But there's people out there that don't know that scams like that can happen (think of your sweet old grandmother).

Now that is a scam.....Not this guy asking for free stuff and selling it.

anyone who thinks this guy is a scammer is just jealous they didnt think of it first.
since things like Ebay went live the internet has been full of people aquiring things for free and reselling them.

Check out alibaba.com under Asian arowana. See what you think about that scam. Camoroon africa is home to huge pet scams. They show fake documents and want you to pay by western union. Scam?????

I have personally recieved a free tank from craigslist that was sitting in someones basement empty. I kept it for a couple months and used it as a grow out tank. I needed to move the fish to a bigger home so I sold that setup for the money. I don't see anything wrong with this at all. The tank would have gone to waste in the first place. I guess it is a little different that I am not specifically doing this over and over for financial gain but maybe he has some fishy feeding bills to pay lol.

Im oppose to ppl taking advantage of Good will people and making a profit off of it.

He is providing a service! Many times you can't easily or morally relieve yourself of these things in a timely fashion. You know what is funny is most pet stores in my area do the same thing except free stuff and resell it. Its just business. If you want to sell it yourself go ahead.
