Craigslist Scammers

The real scammers are the guys that offer to buy your car, and pay for it to ship to them. Here's how it goes:

-I'll send you a check for the full price of your car, plus $3,000 to ship it.
-You drop off your car and $3,000 to my "shipper".
-My "shipper" takes your car and $3,000 from you.
-You find out in about a week after you deposit my check that it's a fake check, and you lose your car + $3,000.

It might sound ridiculous, and you, being the savvy person you are, will never fall for it. But there's people out there that don't know that scams like that can happen (think of your sweet old grandmother).

Now that is a scam.....Not this guy asking for free stuff and selling it.

anybody that would send their car before the check cleared is an idiot. I'd wait for the check to clear, drive the car to the buyer and buy a plane ticket and new aquarium with the $3,000.
