DUDE put a sponge over the end of your filter your impeller just got thrashed from all that free floating sand in your tank. And every time the bottom gets stirred up its gonna suck sand in. buy one the sponges u use in air powerd filter or take a aqua clear sponges slice a hole in it and slide over the intake tube. It will pre filter everything. Befor it reachs your impeller.

wow....i have not checked the site in awhile..feeling the love.
Filters doing fine, i turn it off during water changes it dose not really kick up any more, other than a little dust after larger water changes. clears up in about 30 mins.
^_^ Updates! its come a long way...but still has a long way to go.
I just did this with a 50% water change so tank is still a bit cloudy...better pics up soon.
I have 5 more anubis of different sizes still to be added and another log or two, penny wort, and java moss.

added the 2 prickly sculpin babies, and the smaller of the mottled sculpn so they can get settled in before the larger two (4 1/2inch & 2 inch)come in when i am done with the decorating. Enjoy

im striping the 20 gallon they were all in..it started out like this
and iv been slowly stripping it as i switch the sculpin over, here it is right now^_^ that log is twisted, the anubs in it and the one behind the log are going in and a few from my guppy tank. as well as all the pennywort.

the tank is crystal clear this morning...the best if has looked sens i set it up...i think i need so scrub down the back of the tank, and find a better camera, gr cant get any shots of it that look as good as it does in person..pitty, anyway!! more updates to come.
