Craigslist - tank sizes and prices

Well if you're in the market for a 75g, I would just buy the 120. I mean, 4ft long compared to 5ft. Only makes sense if you're in the market for a 75g. I know you dont like those dimensions, but they're better than what a 75's would be.

I agree! I only pay $100 for a 125 because that size is so common. A 180 I will go up to $250 but it has to have the top.

Cant say I blame them for almost trying to give that setup away. Looks like it's about to collapse. I guess I should have stated in my previous post that the tank probably wont look like it's ready to crumble to pieces, just assumed that was implied.
 
Well I must admit I found my tank on craigslist and i got a hell of a deal...70''w by 18h by 12 depth..He never new exactly how many gallons exactly but I figured between 175-200gl's. And so I got the canister the water pump, the tank with hood and lights plus the stand for $200..Now i must say it was in great shape but it definetly need some TLC before I was able to display it. Plus the plumbing need a change..

Yeah, there's deals out there if your not in a hurry to buy. I check out CL once or twice a week. It helps to have a truck and a few friends to help lift if needed.
