Ever consider keeping African cichlids?

I HATE Cichlids. With a pasion. That's all anyone round here keeps. Drives me nuts. Can't stand any Cichlids.

After reading this,I think I remember you mentioning that before. If you should ever change your stance against them at least your water is just about ready made for them.

If I change my stance I have allready told anyone I know that's into fish to please stuff them down my throat as I sleep, and IF I live through it I would like all my tanks shot......

I am firm on my stance. IF they ever enter my house they will end up as lawn fertilizer after they are pooped out.

The only thing I hate more then Cichlids is kids with car stereos that claim are loud enough to break glass. They have no idea how loud something has to be to break glass. I do.

Sorry for the derail Keepin, but my Cichlid hatred is far to strong to silence...... Had to clear that up.

There are some like this one from lake malawi that are pretty cool, get about a foot long and have teefs. a tank full of 10+ frontosas looks pretty nice too, but i agree, nothing much beats a similar set up with no-nonsense predatory characins. everything else is secondary.

Sorry for your loss. In what I have seen once they start smaking into things they seem like they won't quit after first big injury. (just my experience),,, Gl to ya. Sorry again. I knwo an Armatus is a hard thingto lose
