Ok I have been wanting a crayfish or crawdad an I went too lfs today they said or advised me not too get one what's ur guys opinion on this??!

If want one go for it!

I had one for two years and she was awesome. I miss her so much. She was in our 75 and had all types of fish from baby loaches to big cichlids. She loved algae wafers and never bothered anyone. Here and our dragon goby shared a tube and she climbed all over him.

well as long as the fish cant fit into the claws he wont kill and eat them.thats not to say he wont grab them and injure them if they get too close.it just all depends on the fish you have.if its small enough to grab,he will try and probably succeed in at least killing it

It all depends on the species of crayfish and the fish you have. Crayfish can kill/eat fish and fish can kill/eat crayfish it all depends on size. Personally I would never mix any crayfish with fish other than dwarf crayfish species. Other crayfish will kill smaller fish, and bigger fish will eat them, so they need to be alone. Dwarf crays are fine with smaller and/or non predatory fish. But nothing too big to eat them. What fish do you got?
