This is one of the better ones that I've seen
Do you want to play God to a bunch of tiny aquatic creatures!!? Well here is your chance, weather you are a seasoned fish keeper or someone who wants to start this addicting hobby, I've got the COMPLETE setup for YOU!
Say hello to your new 30 Gal Hexagonal Aquarium, which comes fully loaded with everything you will need and more....apart from the water, and the fish. This isn't your ordinary rectangular fish tank, it's a space saving dynamic beast that lets you build a tall rather than long aquascape! It's not only cooler to look at because there are so many sides and different types of fish will swim at different levels, it's also compact, it fits nicely in any corner of the room, transforming your boring home into a soothing zen sanctuary of life! Let me start the list of what fantastic goodies this tank comes with!!! Bare in mind everything being used is a good thing, new tank equipment needs to be seasoned and broken in, all this stuff has been in the water, supporting the nitrogen cycle of a well balanced tank, it should be easy to re-establish the balanced water chemistry I had to keep the fish healthy. Also, with everything included, this equipment is easily worth over $1000 new!
-30 Gal Hex tank with glass top, and beautiful organic looking oak trim
-Matching Wood stand custom fitted for this specific tank with storage compartment underneath for all the other stuff I will give you
-Coralife hood with 50/50 flourescent lamp/Actinic blue phosphors, supplying plant sustaining natural replicated daylight
-2 tank heaters (not sure why I have two, but I do, and they both work)
-Thermometer sticker (located on the tank glass
-Marine Penguin 150 Biological filter with used BioWheel
-Large tree trunk tank ornament (fish love this because it's tall and they can hide in it)
-1 Piece of driftwood (great for those catfish and suckerfish/pleco's) softens water and bottom feeders love to chew on it.
-Blue Gravel
-1 Auto feeder, has settings for multiple feedings per day, and can set it to feed twice at a time allowing the slower fish to get some while the faster fish are busy eating.
-Light timer (turns tank lights on in the morning, and off at night).
-AQUARIPURE NITRATE FILTER!!! This is about $230 new, it is an amazing extra filtration system. It's a canister that sits outside the tank that houses anaerobic bacteria and as the water is cycled through this canister, these little guys convert all the Nitrates (the reason you do water changes) into harmless nothings!! Reduces need for water changes by 80% I would say, the only reason you should change your water is to do a gravel vac, or if you are having a water problem, (which will be unlikely while using this amazing filter).
-UV Light filtration system, also a $200 value, although it's a bit large and awkward, if you are having a breakout of ick/bacterial bloom, algae bloom or cyanobacteria, it will clear things right up, as the water passes under the light, parasites and bad bacteria get zapped and the water goes back into the tank clean and crystal clear.
ALL THIS FOR ONLY $500!! And let me tell you, if you are new to fish keeping, you will eventually acquire most of these things, and it will have cost you a LOT more!
