oh man... around here, there is no such thing as a deal. i check craigslist at least once a month, and other than the INSANE deal my buddy just got on a tank with the most custom mods ever (for $150!), nothing goes cheap.

i thought i just didn't get the joke... but seriously, every tank ad on craigslist is like that here.

I think its like that everywhere. If you want something for a good deal, you have to almost look daily. It's a lot of work, but every now and then you find some great stuff. I do this whenever I want a tank, just look constantly for about a week and a deal will usually come up.

I live in a mountain community, so I understand that things will be more expensive because of the costs involved in delivering goods this area... but this? Should I even bother telling them it's worth only a 10th of what they're asking (if that)?

I'm about to use my amazing 150 gal tall show tank for more than just three fish. I have two full grown 6 year old Pacus, they are HUGH! One is 29 in long and 5in thick. I’m willing to sell my beautiful RedTail 24'' long, but you must take the Pacus too. What you do with them (eat them?) is your business, I don’t care. I just can’t do it myself, I've been caring for these fish for 6 years, and I just can’t come to killing them. But my wife is going to kill me if I dont get rid of these fish. Come and GET THEM! if you been to the zoo, you know what i'm talking about.
