sorry didn't post a link, actually i think the thread will get closed since there are some "foul language" on the comments on the blog such as that is "f-ing sick, etc."

so i'll post more pictures of the filters on here.

lol dude what do u do for a living? that is a sick ass fish room and a 12 footer ahhhhhh.....*though shall not covet though shall not covet*...wow. Monster fish ballin at its best!!!

lol what a waste. U think u needed all those filters to make ur water extra cleaner? LMFAO. :ROFL: What is so hard to understand about sump filter anyway? Its just like a cannister filter only open.
• water goes in
• water pass thru medias
• water go back to tank
thats all there is to sump. isnt that the same with cannister?
ONLY, SUMP gives u more amount of Medias to put in and gallons of water in 1 electric cord outlet... More Effecient and Less Power Usage.
 
Uh, play nice, please? Just because you think he is being wasteful is no reason to insult him. What his is doing is no less wasteful than, say, a cadillac northstar engine in a fiero, and no less pointless. We all say "sweet, I bet that's fast" about the fiero and then we laugh at ccdoido38, but there is really no difference. He did it, he had the bragging rights for the most eheims on one tank ever, and so let him brag for a bit. Most of us realize that there is nothing great about it (or a penguin 150 on a 1 gallon), but they have as much right to an opinion as you or I do.

Now, I like to keep my filtration in line with what is best for my fish first and best for my wallet second. I have 2 fluval FX5s and a 22 gallon sump (~400gph from the pump) on my 125 for a grand total of ~1400 gph (11.2x turnover). I had an AC110 and a fluval 205 on it as well for a while but found they didn't add anything to the poop sucking, so I took them off. I was going to put a 3rd fx5 (still new in box) on, but I don't think it will pick up more poop than the existing filters, so it is not set up.

I had one of the walmart 30-60 filters along with a fluval 304 on a 20gal!

I have a 75g with 2x AC110's and a filstar xp3.

Another 75g with 2x AC110's and a fluval 304.
