Crazy hot socal weather ! HELP!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I am assuming they don't have AC Homer, or its broken, tanks in front of a window, massive pump in the water etc....

Either way a fan blowing on the water will cool it down, shrimp keepers do it all the time.

Im not sure if it broken or not? but unless i miss read his post, it seems he said he had it on? Which is the only reason i advised him to keep his windows closed or the AC ends up being basically on for nothing :)

just unplug your heaters...

i just unplugged my heaters and they stay around 82-83*F around 77-78*F at night.
saves electric bill and keeps water at a good temp win-win!

Good thing temp going down next week here socal. The 4 16floz melt so quickly in the tanks, therefore changed to 2 2 liters. Works well plus 20% w/c work the best for me. Thanks for the help guys!

welcome to climate change fishkeeping, in az. (where I live)we often cant get temps below 83-84for months at a time, unless you have really sensitive fish they will be ok up to 85
