That is so awesome mate!!!! Glad you were able to score some!! They are definitely a rough and tough kind of pike!! Very awesome!! I don't even really need to say how jealous I am!!!

I love the green flush on the first pic ... those lip markings almost give them a bulldog look to my eye ... nice nice nice *bows*

Very cool!

I saw a pic of Vinny's large female and I don't think anyone here has a clue as to how red and how gorgeous these fish actually get. We're talking stop-sign red from front to back. One of the few times that I verbally said "holy ****!" when I opend the pic...

Actually Mark ~ some of us have a 'clue' as to mature Celidos, we're hopin Kutty can have another spawn this year! BTW - noticed ya never posted your Madiera 'Emeralds' on MFK>>> ... How're they doin?

VERY NICE vid TurtleSlayer - - - chompin time lip-spot-style , are yours about 5"? any orange yet???

:) Some populations of C.missioneira, C.minuano and S.scottii can get the same strong orange/red color from front to back.....even if the celidochilus is "something extra" in my opinion!

Yes, I saw a very nice pic of a female missioneira as well. Just not as nice as the celidochilus!
