IME, lents are pretty nasty. I'd definitely be worried about your Cichla. My lents have killed more than their fare share of fish.

And I think you need to understand that the $10 really doesn't matter. It's not about the money...
 
For all the doubters here are the two lenticulata that I paid $14.99 for last Friday. They are about 2.5" ea. I bought them at the Pet Club in Simi Valley, CA.
 
Hey guys! He started this thread asking about if his fish would be safe with one another. NOT to confirm identity. We are not the identity police nor should we hound him for pics to try and discredit him. That is deraling the thread and so am I by speaking here. Any way, we should only really be trying to help right??

I just re-read the original thread.

He asks if $10 is a good price. That DOES depend upon whether or not they ARE lenticulata.

Secondly, he asks if he should be worried. I'm no pike expert, but I know that there are NASTY pikes, and "okay" pikes, which also depends on their being lenticulata or not.

Right?

So, to best help him, and to best answer his questions, we would need a positive ID, right?

I'm not trying to be uppity or sarcastic. Correct ID definitely does help get correct answers, doesn't it?

for the benefit of your LFS, please let us know the name of where you bought them. I know like 4 of us here in oc/la counties that will carpool there just to see what other steals they might have.
