Eh, if you plan to show them, then thats great. Personally I like pairs....just much more fun for me to keep them that way, plus they are more attractive and compliment each other. Single, solo pikes just look 'sad' and incomplete in my opinion...haha. Someone should definately grab it, if its still up for sale! ;)

And yes, I was referring to Crenicichla celidochilus.....which we might not have to wait as long if things work out right....c'mon Felipe!! :D

Cr. lacustris ~ 'Red-spot Pikes' are reputably some of the MEANEST. I am bummed to miss out ~ have been outta town since last week-end....

Good chance for 'Lip-Spot' (celidochilus)this fall --- we're workin on it!!!

I hope it inspires Jeff to actually get in some better pikes...namely ones from Uruguay...;). I would sell myself for some 'lip spotters'..hahaha..;)

I think there is gonna be a race to get the C-lo's when they come around... I already have plans to sell one of my cars if need be.

Are pairs less aggressive to one another?

I wouldn't quit say that... Lets just put it this way... I have had pairs of Crenicichla, and I do not have any pairs now (besides the dwarfs). And not by my choice.
