Crested gecko or crocodile gecko

If its a quiet and far from noisy kids,televicion ,dogs,etc,place then there is not much diference;)
 
assuming you havent gotten one yet go for the crested gecko. I have both and you cant really hold crocs thay bite but it doesnt hurt. crested geckos are really nice and are a better starter pet. They crested are slightly harder to take care of but you should be fine. I hope this isnt too late but if it is ha oh well :)

haha the cave gecko is like one big mystery. If you look online you cant find info on it and its because the real name for it is a chinese leopard gecko. The stupid petstore i bought it from labled it wrong :(

cresties are really low maintenance and very forgiving. they dont need much supplemented heat. they thrive at room temp along with an additional heating pad. they're very tame and friendly and everyone of all sorts loves them. Mine converted the non-reptilian lovers to real fans. Maybe it's their unusually soft skin or their strange monkey-like tail or just their cute disposition. they're omnivorous eating insects as well as sweeter things such as fruit. mine love melons,bananas, and honey. you can buy dehydrated gecko food which works very well as well as being very nutritious. they're extremely easy to breed. all it really consists of is a male and one or two females. the eggs can then be incubated at a temp of 75 degrees F, an easy temperature to require in a home during the summer. they enjoy being misted, as they're tropical geckos. a 20 gal can hold a male and two females. they're wonderful, cute, long-lived pets for a beginner.
