Wow thanks thats an awsome link.

I didn't cut you off, your girlfriend did. :D

The more I read about them, the more I want one too! Actually, a pair. They are such neat little geckos and surprisingly, don't require extreme care that some other more common species do.

Your very welcome Chad! Good luck and post some pics!

Oh I deffinatly will but it will be a week or two until I get them IF I get them. I really want them though they are sweet. So should I just use aspen for the bedding like I already have for my snakes?

cresteds do good around 70-80 they can die with temps over 85 they also need lots of uv and calcium also provide lots of hide spots and spray two times a day also provide them with some fruit in there diet (use gar baby food) and good luck

They need lots of uv? Is there proof to that statement?

I thought cresteds being nocturnal didn't need uv?

Chad

Cresties don't need UV...

What I do is mix fruit and sweet potato/turkey baby food... then mix the liquid calcium + D3 that I got from G&E Pharmacy. I got this tip from a local breeder...

Other than that... the CGD will do fine, feed them two times a week with crickets, roaches or grubs. Always provide fruit puree (in form of CGD or baby food). Spray once or twice a day to give them fresh water to drink. Make sure the humidity is 60%+, and the temperature doesn't exceed 82F on any occasion, and you should be fine.

OH, and it's okay if they accidentally drink your beer or something... they eat fermented fruits all the time in the wild. Not that I would suggest it... it happened to me a few time by mistake of handling them when I got open drinks.
