Critique my aquascaping!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah, you're right about the hc.
If I'm trimming something, the current that my clipper things produce is enough to uproot it.
the only good thing about it is its growth rate and looks aha.
nice foreground plant choice nonetheless.

Looks great, the only part that has some room for improvement is the rock arrangement on the left, but its just a matter of taste. When are you going to start planting? and who are you planning on getting staurogyne repens from?

beautiful

In my opinion, too much wood. If you plant heavily on the wood, you will have dead spots in the back, if you don't plant heavily on the wood, then you will end up with spotty lighting to the back. The wood will actually begin to detract from your eye's focal point, and the eye will get lost trying to focus on the tank as a whole. Utilize a smaller piece of wood, that will draw your viewers eye into the tank, or across the tank, rather than trying to get them to view the tank in one piece. When you do this, your viewers will not see all the little details, and may even miss several of your signature settings.

Just saw them... Now that tank is going to draw the eye in.

Also, get some moss on the rock on the left. It keeps pulling my eye away, due to color contrast, but is uninteresting alone. My eye keeps drawing across, but the returning to the wood.
