I want a cuvier's dwarf caiman REALLY bad but can't find a small one for sale :irked

Anyone know where I can get one?

That is about average for a dwarf. The price goes up for CBB too. If you are ready for it I would say grab it up before you miss your chance. They don't pop up too often unfortunately. Just ask LP how difficult it was for him to track down his girlfriend.

If you're willing to deal with a slightly larger species of caiman, JAYGEE has two ~18" to ~24" female spectacled caimans for sale; female specs typically stay around 4.5' to 5' so they're roughly the same size as a male Cuvier's dwarf caiman. Just something to think about if you want to spend a little less on a caiman.

I have semi joined the ranks, My girl should be here Tuesday. After about two months of searching I found a 27" inch WC dwarf at the Texas Reptile Exchange, possibly a Wedgehead. (the owner isn't 100& sure) what he can tell me is that it is eating well but is very aggressive so that should be nice LOL. I also hate to say this because I am a bit embarrassed, but I will be keeping him in a 75 Gal tank for about a month two months max because I am in the process of buying a home and cannot work on his enclosure till I close. I was wanting to get a CB baby and had prepared for that, but this is the first one I have seen in forever and I jumped on it, maybe a bit without thinking. But I got a gameplan and the equipment to build a decent enclosure, so no real worries

Cant wait for pics!!Also cant believe I missed a thread of insults about me. :(Shea, chris is right. Getting Claudia was difficult. It can be a challenge at times to find what ya want in the croc world unless u want a gator. keep looking.

I know for a fact that a shipment of Babies are coming into the states on the 19th of Jan, so if you want one that would be the time to be jumping on one. I wasn't looking for a baby and rather have an established Animal so this knowledge didn't help me, but it can help you Shea.

Keeping it in there for a few weeks shouldn't be a big deal as long as you take it out frequently for exercise.
