My LFS had "$5 for the crooked one" written on their Bichir tank, and when I looked I saw this little guy in there just living his life. He was actually the most active one... so basically my heart melted and I brought him home. He gets along fine with my other bichirs, has a healthy appetite, and is still very active. Anybody ever adopt one like this? I'm just wondering if there are complications I should look for as he grows.IMG_20180914_180322_571.jpg IMG_20180914_144552_734.jpg

So kind of you to adopt the Senegal and giving it a great home. I personally have a couple of Polys with deformities but don't plan on breeding them.

Aww, he's a cutie :D. Glad he went to a good home instead of being destined to the pet stores tank forever because he's an ugly duckling.
Also cool hair.

Thanks! And yeah, he really seems to be a happy little bichir. He's pretty fast too, he just wobbles a little when he gets to full speed

I actually went to get another one because my Del and Sen were avoiding each other and someone suggested adding more to reduce stress. He's the peace keeper :] They all hang out around each other now.

Yes that was great advice and good to hear things are stable with all the polys.
