i think tatooing is way worse to be honest. this doesn't make the fish sick, and it probably only hurt when it was first done. the guys was a tatoo artist, and he also did peircings on people, so he figured, why not fish?

i don't agree with it, but that guy got a lot more **** than he deserved.

Agree.. Not to mention most people will tell you by all scientific evidence we have now that fish don't feel pain.

And ultimately he didn't leave because of people giving him crap. As he came back and said he had removed the peircings and they were going to live out their days in his friends pond.

Well you can bet that the guy has the same piercings! So I guess on one hand he didn't do to them what he wouldnt do to himself. I personaly didn't like it but then again I think people with thingys hangin from their lips look goofy too! maybe I'm just old hahaha

I dont think its excusable just because the tank got clean water. I can never be proper care to pierce your fish.

Nope. You can actually go catch them in the Wilson reservoir. I saw them for sale all the time when I lived there.
