Cutteri rio jutiapa from Matt - growing out still no pair

Hrp rio danli from Matt (with cutteri in background) he's the only survivor so I dropped him with the group.

Mark,

It looks like that HRP is female. After that long the father and all his male offspring were twice as tall.
She looks very healthy. Shouldn't be long with your Jutiapa Cutteri. I remember a growout tank with three
breeding pairs in corners at .75-1". Great color on that strain. Good Luck.

Interesting James, because "she" bred with a baby convict that I was pretty positive was female (orange belly) and had free swimming fry. Of course they were culled and soon after I removed the con so that it wouldn't happen again. I've tried introducing other fish with "her" but she doesn't like ANYTHING that looks like her. She's currently in my 55 with my oscar as they wait for my 75 stand to be built. But I have to agree that it looks female from the body shape. Oh well!

I've got the jutiapa in a 20 long growout with some tetras for now in the hopes that they pair off

Sounds likes he is a male then unless you witnessed tubes dropped. I'd have to guess the smaller con with a orange belly was the female.
