I keep mine in a bare bottom tank with no decor. Should be fine. They adjust fast and will swin around with other fish

I have my 2 Cteno's in with some fake driftwood and they do fine they just hide under the decor or on the side of it.

Thanks!

Just threw my 3 leopard into a 300g outside with a golden giant gourami and 6 5-6" climbing perch. Needed to make room for my dats.

I love mine, there only about 2" long but theyll swallow down a 1" minnow easy. they like the plants to use to hunt. :nilly: i cant wait till mine get that big

Anyone have experience in keeping Leopard Ctentoma in groups?? I’ve been looking around but can’t seem to have any info :(

I've always kept them in groups. They bicker but the cannot harm each other, and all school together when something frightens them. My previous group lived about 6 -8 years; I only have one left of the original group of 7. It's about 8-9" long and looks old.
I currently have 6 x 1" juveniles I'm raising together to replace my previous group. They are really cool fish to have and get along well with tank ages of suitable size...

How many would you recommend for a 125?
