Oh the joy of useless bullsh*t...can any number of you actually keep on topic without this BS ??? Really can you???? It really does get very old and very annoying having to deal with you. You really do make this place a location not worth the time spending on...If one has to yell over the noise and Sh*t it is not worth it......

yo chill man nothing wrong with getting distracted with pics like that, lol okay will change it soon. haha

okay actually the reason i started this is that i ordered some tropical gars from my friend, and he ends up telling me that the shop owner actually bred them, and that they were hybrids(according to the breeder). i'm pretty skeptical, but felt that it would be an interesting topic nonetheless. description of the fish(they went to take a look at it last night) was that the fish had a thick snout and no spots on the tail, just under a foot. well they at least knew this would be worth thousands. will post pics soon, but i'm just hoping that they turn up to actually at least be tropical gars

Not a distraction to me thats on a simple google search or pornotube search...Wippee who cares.....

I would rather see pics of this fish your talking about...with little comment about other things such as you avatar...

BELIEVE ME i wanna see pics of the fish as well..i could hardly sleep on saturday night when they said the fish was arriving last night. ah well i'm just keeping my fingers crossed for tropicals.

btw: the fish were spawned in a fish farm in malaysia, so is there any chance of it being a hybrid?

there's a chance, and anything is possible (whether or not it is likely is another story), but i'd be pretty cynical about anything until i saw pics--

coming from a farm in malaysia they could feasibly be anything, but i would guess they are likely gators or Florida/spotted gars. they could be tropicals, but who knows.

if they have no spots in the tail by the time they are a foot long, who knows what they are as all gar species have some pattern in the tail...Lepisosteus genus is more likely to have spots, whereas Atractosteus has striations/stripes...or a combination of striations and spots. either way, they all have something.

just make sure to get pics before you buy; i've seen gars around that area that are listed as tropicals but were in fact Florida/spotted.--

yep, i'm only paying the cash when the fish is at my doorstep and i approve of it.

and, these look as much like spatula X osseus as i would guess.!. or are they just osseus?
