i have two cuban gars myself... they get fed only once every 3-4 days and a couple pellets as a snack and i probly double that thickness..also look at xanders cubans.. And if you had a Cuban with double the girth at the same length you would have a problem. This fish is healty and eats like a champ, but at 13inches there is no way he should be double his current girth.
