Okay I know I posted Pic yesterday and they were fine all day yesterday and when i went to bed. I woke up this morning and the small cuban that is suppose to be the male is hiding behind my filter and the bigger one that is suppose to be the female is out swimming and today I have a feeling that what people said are true about both being male.

Now I want to see what every One Really thinks PLease Help as I am trying to bring more of this fish into my area so the Local Fish Stores Have them for sale and people know what they are

To hard to tell at that size but nice cubans. I had a breeding pair and my male started to get a hump on the top of his head. Nothing like a flowerhorn but you could see the difference from the female. My current pair is showing the same signs but have yet to lay eggs.
 
so it is normal for the male to hide like that is what your saying Because I have always seen it to where the smaller male always hides when the bigger male take over but i am not sure with cuabns
 
Looks like they are still pretty small, but I think they are both male. I have several including a breeding pair at 4. May change with size, but right now I think they are both males.
 
what is the best way to tell when tey get a little bigger if they are male and female and the guy i got them from at CICHLIDS OF THE AMERICAS said they have already breed too but the way they are acting it is hard to believe

okay so i should call dan then and talk to him and see if he got any smaller cubans that he can send me and send these guys back
