filtration pics, should be good enough?

the top and bottom tray were added today, everything else was added a month ago, with quite a lot of powdered BB added too.

It looks fine to me....

the gar of the filtration?

that was a bad pic, came from a video still...changed it to a more recent one, and it's actually a good bit darker than shown in the pic

Both lol. You may find the darker color is a result of the decor (black background?)

no, it's pretty much black, and they're supposed to stay yellow, even with dark backings/substrate

yeah, if you can get a recent shot (not video still) that would help. if the fish looks almost black there is a good chance something is wrong, but it's hard to advise you about it accurately without a pic.

new filtration should be good. what are powdered bioballs? what are they powdered with? either way, i would avoid adding new fish in (as apparently the arow was added since the last disaster) until things are sorted out, that includes temporarily housing some other big fish.

is the Cuban eating? are its eyes cloudy? what are your parameters right now? i've never seen a large cuban go really dark without some sort of stress factor, even in shots of other large Cubans. good luck--

there aren't anymore bubbly foam at the top of the tank, and i readjusted the spray bar so it's underwater, and so that air bubbles aren't flying all over the place

sorry BB is beneficial bacteria, stocklist is the 3 gars and african aro.

yes she's eating. i've only fed her once this past week, but funny thing is, after the meal she returned almost to normal, only to turn black again half an hour later. eyes aren't cloudy for the most part, but i notice it sometimes turn slightly cloudy during af aro feedings.

i'll get back w the readings later, couple things first.
