You may be "the fish god", but you don't know your fish, It's a juvie Nandopsis tetracantha. Patterns vary a lot with them. Ken
 
Will try to post better pics later. The milky white underbody and the thin red edge on the dorsal and caudal fin is making me think.... also haven't seen any texas variant with such a white body.... most juveniles at this size are pretty dull grey.

Just look at his head profile, that's all I needed, patteren on ever one of them is different, so you can't go by that. Ken
