Pipa pipas are pretty hardy like most stagnant water frogs but you'll never see em. Fairly easy to buy.

Wow, beautiful bird. I had budgies when I was a kid, none hand tamed. I have been thinking about getting a Cockatiel or similar, but I live alone and go out of country once a year.
My budgies which are still alive and living with my grandma are not hand trained either

Oh okay but would they coninhabitate with the newts????
They live in very different conditions and setups. No they will not cohab, if you want a frog (but no newts) I'd suggest a Xenopus Laevis. Shockingly hardy frogs and very interactive.
Unfortunately there is no species of frog you could put with the newt.
