How come? It would just be easier to get the full enclosure for him to live for life and also cheaper as well in the long run. Is it the room that limiting your space?

Is it a space issue? Maybe you could measure the space you have to fit and maybe someone could work out with you the best cage design possible.

do u guys think the plexii glass front sounds good.

That's what most use but yeah. Z trip can maybe chime in with where to get a peice and if it's regular plexi or lucite.

An idea come to mind ^^

6" x 4" x 2" thats how big my double size bed is... maybe you can create the enclosure + supporting wooden pole (so it can support your weight) then you put ur bed (pillow + banky on top of it..) the monitor lives under.. and you sleep on top ^^ That would be cool ^^ and save space too ^^ :D

That's a *****in idea and he's young so he probably doesn't weigh a lot.

I saw a monitor cage made out of a bunk bed frame one time. I wish I had saved the pic.

But it was a very good concept, the "bottom bunK" was walled in with plexiglass doors in front and the top still had a mattress on it. It actually looked pretty nice. Must have been warm to sleep on!

and LC, GOOD JOB changing the substrate. We are just looking out for you and your animals...that's definitely a step in the right direction.

thanks.........and a bunk bed slash monitor enclusure sounds aweosome.:headbang2
