the 180gallon tank is made with 1/2" acrylic ( like suggested ) But that link says i have to log in, gimmie a couple mins till i respond again.
I have no intention on making any of my tanks open tops, Unless i got smaller tanks ( for raising fry ).
But do you think it would be safe to still use 1/2 " acrylic even if I had a closed top using the 2 cements?
the first is like a liquid that goes under the acrylic and gets rid of all the air gaps. the second is like normal silicone but this bonds to the acrylic to help support the tank.
