Cyanoguttas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I firmly believe that it would be very difficult to attain an actual pure version of either Cyano or Carpinte from any place other than a reputable source or direct import from specific locality. My male ($8 at LFS) is most definately a 'mutt' but I think he is great and that's all that counts.

Hi, Otherone, this is a very nice article, I read it time ago.

Cichlidfish, this characteristics I say its for time ago I buyed a "cyano", but some people from mexico say me they are carpintis.

After them we search the caracteristics what diference the two species, and we found the things what I say.

In this pic you upload, it like a bit cyano, but the seconds with the things of diference I found no. Is for this I think its an hybrid.

So what is it about this fish that makes you think it isn't pure cyano? Every pic I see from wild caughts in North Mexico and South Texas look like this fish. I guess a lot of texas maybe hybrids, but are they really hybrids? I would consider a flowerhorn to be a true hybrid because it is a true mix of speices. Texas are different varriations of the same speices-they are all closely related herichthys. Thet are all texas cichlids. They only thing that makes them different from one another is geographic location. There are only slight physical differences that set these fish appart. Mine could be mixed w/ other texas being that it is a tank bred fish, but it does look more cyano then anything else.

Also your english is good, and understand what you are saying.

Hi cichlidfish, I say hibrid for the descriptions I said, the form of points and how are they ordenated. This are the diferences we find time ago, but its posible we exaggered to diference more easy. Im goin to question Marco Arroyo and, Paco Gutierrez, they are the people with I make this diferences, I want to know what think they, im interesting for this.

Hi cichlidfish, Im investigating about this and I have nice news for you :)

This isnt hibrid, is the variety of cyano what live in river Salado in Mexico, Bravo in the north of Mexico in the border and in the river Guadalupe in Texas.
Sorry but I think there is an only variation of cyano.
