One of my fish is 1/3 the size of all the others. It has dark stripes so I'm guessing it is a male. Will it survive? What should I do? How can I keep it alive?

Not sure. At that size you might end up loosing some. Just keep the water clean, make sure they have lots of hiding places and feed them good food. That's really all you can do.

I'm not saying they aren't but when you have an obvious runt he might just drop dead for no reason. I've found that once they hit 2" they chances of these deathes seems to drop quite a bit.

Okay sounds good. I am just a little worried I was looking forward to being able to say I have 20 lol. Just a novelty.

So in response to my oscar threads I will be using the 75 that these would be going into for 2 oscars and these fish will go into a 55. I plan on selling of extra males once they are large enough to tell. I just need to find the right filtration for a 55.
