obviously learning from my previous mistakes which caused the disease (BAD FILTERATION) :/ i'v ordered a fluval fx5 for the tank now :)

anyway heres my current set-up, 2 oscars around 2 inches long. soon to add a convict male :)
comments and criticism very welcome on my set-up :D

you could get hith from bad firation and most key reason feeders? and your plants will be gone soon but lovely looking oscars and female cons have more color btw

yep, right now the only live foods they recieve are guppies that i've been keeping for years. yep expecting the plants to go soon lol and about the cons i have a male which has gorgeous finnage, plus a head bump. im pretty attached to him lol

Lol @ monster can.

can is siliconed on a brick lol. i know it seems odd but i had to combine my favourite drink to my favourite thing right :D lol

Tank looks good, I love the can probibly the most authentic and common piece of aquascaping in every lake in the world. I garentee you find it in every lake here in Jersey. Good job.

feed your oscars frozen thawed shrimp, shell on. they'll have more color than you can imagine. stay clear of feeders. i used to give mine the occasional tetra, or tinfoil barb for some exercise and a treat, but stick with the shrimp and pellets and your oscars will have no issues.

they're messy as hell as well, make sure you do deep gravel vac's at regular (twice a month) intervals and have really good mechanical filtration. HITH can be prevented with regular good maint. and good feeding habits. good luck, looks like some nice oscars. best fish i ever owned.
