Dainichi foods

When you say bloat, did any of them die?

My fry's bellies are crazy full but they all seem extremely active and happy...

i used dainichi for about 6 months or so, from ordinary pellets, and noticed nothing different about my fish coloring. as far as the high protein, it did cause some pretty bad bloat in my lima and ob. it does smell and look good, but for the price you could get something else AND some frozen to go with. also after switching to something else, have noticed no change either. just my experince though.

What is a lima? DO you mean catfish? OB Zebra?

Zebra are Omnivores so I do not think they are very susceptible to bloat.

There are other causes of bloat other than diet.

All species of African cichlids are susceptible to bloat, including carnivores.
Having said that, there are indeed many causes of bloat, and most of them have nothing to do with the diet.
