So I just ordered some of the stuff and it got here a couple days ago. All I can say is WOW! Who all is using this stuff and if you are using it, can you post pics of your prize males/fishies that have eaten it for a long time? I got the Ultima and Color Supreme foods. This food looks amazing and the fish seem to love it, I'm just curios what people's long term impressions of it are.

ive been using dainichi, omega one, and nls all together! dainichi is a great food if not better than ur known commercial brands! ive been using xl pro and veggie fx for sometime now! you cant go wrong! its definitely a good choice!

There are plenty of breeders outside of the GTA as well, and a lot of them swear by a lot of things. ;)
I know numerous breeders/hobbyists that went from NLS to Dainichi, and ended up going back to NLS.

Putting those pics aside, why would a manufacturer use altered pics to promote their products?

I am sorry I am not making base less claims here. If you look at the pictures it is clear that the lighting has changed. Take a picture of a fish with flash and it will look different. Change the bulbs and it will look different. The rocks and gravel have two different looks to them for the lighting to be exactly the same. Show a pictures that have the same lighting and I will gladly say that the fish looks better. Please do not catorigize me because you can not see the differences. I have tried many different foods before I decided to use NLS. I have used Omega One, Tetra, and other store brands. I have used online sources that make their own stuff. I have even used some dainichi foods. Not one in question but others. I have decided based on my results what I prefer. No matter what you make decided it is an opinion based purchase. People will push what they want. On the same idea I can post pictures from websites that show how much better fish on NLS look too. Does that make it true? The fact is I like the way my fish look better on NLS. I have pretty nice fish and I am happy.

I however do not appreciate your attempt to simply dismiss my opinion or imply that I an uneducated person who makes things up because I am on the internet.

Havent used it yet,got too much food in stock at the moment to buy more but from what I hear its an excellent food.

I think so to the lighting looks way better in the second photo. Also I would like to thank Mke and Gunnerx for all their help since I started keeping cichlids.I have used both foods and still do twice a week, but since Iam into organics my fish get sweet potatoes, spinach, zuccinni which they love and I can say their colors are wonderful everybody thinks I have a saltwater tank . Oh and the odd guppy .Pat

That is a great idea to feed whole veggies too!

Whole veggies (organic!) will probably do more for the fish than whatever food we chose. All of this aside, I just wanted to see actual pictures of the fish side by side. I never asked what food was better, I merely stated that I was impressed by the smell and color of the Dainichi foods.

As for what I'm using, I picked up the color supreme and ultima.

I feed nls and Dainichi
