Thanks for all the comments.. He is in my 350 with 3 silvers and no aggression so far. If there is then I will pull him and put him another tank.

jlnguyen74: The head is all wrinkled up on this guy. I was wondering if they would go away with time and weight added to him.

I cannot believe that anyone would add an unhealthy fish to their main tank, exposing all the other fish to what it may be carrying.

Always best to quarentine first.

Blah, Blah, Blah.............. There is a diff. between unheathly and neglected.

This from a guy with a overstocked small tank of arows and cichlids. The fact is you have no clue what i have done with this fish prior to posting. So unless you want to stick to the topic get off the thread heckler. Go worry about your fish getting sick from crickets, and worms:screwy:.

mine made a jump out of the tank beginning of the year and broke a barbel off and it grew back so there's a good chance he'll be ok imo

The wrinkle is sign of stunt grow plus poor water condition. It may get better when he grows, but I highly doubt it will be go away. The finnage and barbels are things that can be fixed in a few months.

I totally agree that aro is NOT a sick fish. Those symptoms are from stunt grow, poor water condition.

So would the stunted growth also explain his long tongue? It comes all the way to the mouth opening. Thanks!

Do you mean the tongue stick out in between the lips? If not, I believe it's normal for the tongue to comes all the way to the mouth opening, but not in between the lips

It just comes to the opening. It does not go between them. It looks alot longer then a silver's tongue. Thats why I was asking
