It just comes to the opening. It does not go between them. It looks alot longer then a silver's tongue. Thats why I was asking

It's normal, even on silver, the tongue can be as long as touching the opening

Blah, Blah, Blah.............. There is a diff. between unheathly and neglected.

This from a guy with a overstocked small tank of arows and cichlids. The fact is you have no clue what i have done with this fish prior to posting. So unless you want to stick to the topic get off the thread heckler. Go worry about your fish getting sick from crickets, and worms:screwy:.

 Ya the fish they love the worms and crickets...no worries though:ROFL:

Good luck with your new aro, hoping for the best with all the fish in that tank.

still a good idea to quarentine fish, especially ones that come from neglected tanks, har to yell what they could be carrying.

good luck bro.

that guy looks seriously neglected ATM, should be fine in your 300+gal. Fins no problem...barbels....maybe.....head shape...permanently stunted....IMO.

Worms and crikets are fine aro food (esp. gut loaded), shrimp also very good. Mines raised on them and its pushing 2ft. Not like pellets available in the wild anyways.
