Yeah great idea genius.

It's not their fault humans over populated the earth and took away their home.

finally someone said it.... i mean at one point they have to be removed but its not their fault

i love where i live, see deer all the time in big groups like 5-8, coyotes howling, hawks screeching, owls, foxes, bobcats, blackbears, i opened my door to let my australian shepered in one night and i saw it face to face with a bob cat, which was scared off pretty easily
just get a bigger dog if your scared, most little dogs like that are meant to stay inside so just teach it to pee on a newspaper or something

Tell me about it Coyoets attack and kill cats and small dogs all the time around here both of my dogs have been attacked twice my older dog has been attacked 3 times all when i was walking them and with in 50 feet of my dogs a simple bite from one will turn into a $600 dollar vet bill

out here in Erie there not affraid of people at night they don't even run when you chase them one night i was walking home from a friends house whil i was cuting threw a field I saw one looking at me funny so I ran at it and it jogged twords me i didn't have any thing on me like a knife or a bat so i said F it turned and walked home a little faster turned out there was 5 of them and they followed me all the way home they tried to surrowned me but i got into the neighbor hood I didn't see where they wen't form there

This is the case in most places but here in Erie Theres miles and miles of open space its all farm land out here Rabits, Prairie dog, Moles, voles, filed mice, squirles are EVERY where Coyotes have plenty of places to live and tons of natural food but they allmost allways chose to hunt in or around neighbor hoods Domestic cats and dogs are eazy prey and they know this so its not like they have don't have a choice but still killing them off isn't the answer but we have plenty of them so here we could get rid of some

i think in TX you can get $15-$20 per pelt :D

Learn to live with it.. After all, it's the animals habitat we are overcrowding

Nothing else really needed to say, buuut.......
WE moved in on them. You live on the border of people/wild! To the people saying they are at fault, you are crazy. It's natural instinct that when you find a food source, you continue to take advantage of it. Are you seriously afraid of them?! Yet another good reason for indoor dogs, if you actually want to keep it, that is. All the shooting talk is ridiculous. There's a REALLY good idea for a neighborhood......"The coyotes are killing, so I shot at them, and killed something (someone) myself".......:screwy:
Coyotes, among many other animals like them, are abundant around here. This is an area where people live out in the middle of nowhere, and manage to live with these wild animals with no problems. Here's a news flash.....wild animals are wild, and they've been this way their entire existence. You city folk, I swear....:grinno:

......wow, it is the American/human way, we move in, take over, and when the natural inhabitants start intruding on our new property we fix that problem. especially when they are taking/killing our things/animals.

maybe you shouldnt have built your house in there territory? I would suggest moving or keeping your dog inside.
