Dont sweat it Del. It will all fall into place. Trust me.;)

i have a good story for you
my wife and i went on a 4 day trip to a car show with most of our close friends (25 people).
long story short after a few drinks my wife gets cocky and decides to yell about an incident that happened last year (i didn't feel like waking up at 7am while on vacation).
so me being a little drunk yelled back, after that we went back and forth all night.
next day we we packed up and went home, a day later i was told "we are not invited or welcome to hang out with them anymore"
come to find out after we left they all decided that i was beating my wife !
a week after on our local web site they where poking fun at a domestic violence rally hinting about us.
none of them have called or talked to us since then, it was a real eye opener that they really dont care about friends.

so my moral to the story is, stick with pets they wont judge you.

Haha, you wanna talk about not fitting in...

I am madly in love with the whole "western" theme. I love country music and recently spent about $400 on a whole western outfit, including the boots, shirt, hat etc. Now I live in Massachusetts may I remind you, in one of those suburbs that is filled with the "gangtsas" on the streets, and mass amounts of gothic kids in the malls. The last thing anyone here has ever seen is a 6 foot tall, just about 7' with the hat and boots, cowboy kid walking around the mall. I swear to you that just about everyone stared at me, of course all the old ladies thought I was cute, most of the kids my age, 17, just laughed and called me stupid once I walked by them, and all the little kids thought I was the coolest thing they have ever seen. I still have yet to were it around campus, which I plan on doing this Friday... Did I fit in, hell no, lol, but did I have fun with wearing one of the coolest outfits ever, I'd reckon I did. And does anyone I know like country, no, but that doesn't mean I am not going to give up what I like or try to fit in to find friends. If people really like me, or like anyone, they will look at you more than just intrests, and these are the people that you will find and they will find you.

The moral of the story is to stick to your guns. My roomates hate my country music, but I still play it good and loud and still get along with them. I thought it would be good to make as many friends as possible, but that was dumb because after you meet them all, most of them turn out to be annoying or not nice or something. In life you only need one good friend, and that is how I am living right now, he wasnt afriad to walk next to me that day in the mall. So just look for that one person that you know you will always be able to trust and get along with, remember its quality, not quantity.

People keep on saying things will fall into place, and they will, so just give it time.

At your age, and being a male, concentrate your efforts on getting as much sex as you possibly can. You may disagree, and others will too, but I'm 35, married 15 years with 4 kids and I still regret not bagging every chick in sight. Start listening to Tom Leykis every day and you will learn the path to enlightenment:)

dude I have had 2 'best friends', then when i moved they stopped talking to me or even emailing, i would send mail after mail with no replies so i reckoned Up theirs.

I learnt to be COMFORATBLE with who i am what i do and what i am going to do. once i realised this and stuck to MY way, people became accepting as this is who i am, this only happenbed at 22, i now have 2 extremely good mates and many aquaintances, but i couldnt care, if they dont like you their loss.

when you fully become who you are people can pick it up in short conversations and will like you or not, if they dont, dont cry over spilt milk. I do what i want to do and get regged for it but hey, YOU REGRET MORE THE THINGS YOU DIDNT DO THAN THE THINGS YOU DID.

make youself happy and then, and only then can you make others happy. if you wanna do something do it and dont worry what other people think, you 100% of the oppurtunities you dont take.

i found i felt worse sitting at home thinking about it, rather, when i went out and did something I ENJOYED to take my mind off it, things slowly fell in to place.

try it, and remeber this:
I cried beacuse i had no shoes and then i met a man with no feet, i.e. there is always someone in a worse position than you.
