Damn it, Jaws

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
With those kind of prices, you might as well just order fish online and have them shipped to you, it would probably be cheaper. xD

Nice pickups.

Nice looking Senegal! You figuring female?

Agreed, that's an endli, not a delhezi .

O
What's a reasonable price for a 10-12" Endli? The Sen and ropefish (at the sizes I bought them)?

the only thing that makes the sen even remotely reasonable is the 8" size but I paid $8 for a 3" sen from wetspot after a month he is already 5"
The first Sen I bought was $18 at 3". That was the cheapest price, as the other stores were asking $20 and $40.

Those are reasonable prices to me. Shipping can be from 45-60$ and that's for 2 day shipping. That doesn't include the price for the fish. You'll find better selection out there. But always not a bad idea to support your lfs. Keeps them in business. Just my 2 cents.

I actually went there intending to buy 4-5 tetras for my 16g, Amano shrimp, and some moss, but once I saw the bichirs I had to have them.

No such thing as a being reasonable vs nit reasonable. Fish in your area may be cheap. Those prices are similar to what i would pay for polys in NY.

Dude dont stress the prices it is what it is. Dealt with the same thing in NY and again in DE. Only cool lfs in the state has prices similar to the ones your seeing.

Any way mwaaaaahha. Glad to have you join the addiction !!!!

Now you , kno4te kno4te and i can further plan whacky methods in nitrate reduction

It happens. Still great purchases.

Those prices aren't out of line for my neck of the woods either. I wouldn't sweat it. You have a great looking sen and you supported a local store.

Perhaps if you go back for more ropes you'll be able to get an "addicts discount" on the mislabeled endli. I got a nice lapradei like that once.

O

+1 man beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Enjoy your polys, $$$ irrelevant for such cool fish

Got the disease bad! Another case of weeksiitis....spread by contact with J jaws7777 lol.
hahahaha. I got the -itis! A weeki weeki!

Angelphish Angelphish , the title of this thread is great :) Welcome to the club. Can't wait to see the poly and the rope grow.

Paying more money can suck, but sometimes you get what you pay for, sometimes you don't. Every seller has different fees. LFS sometimes charge more, but the good news is that you get to look at the fish before you buy.Plus you are supporting the LFS. And they might help you out with deals or issues in the future :)And your fish look healthy, so that is awesome.
P.S. Those prices are similar to what it is down in FL.
