Get a Palmas Polli if you want an active one!

I agree, Ropes like to be in groups of 3+.

Mine were more stubborn to eat pellets but always went for silversides, krill, live earthworms. I soak my pellets in bloodworm cubes while they thaw and that is what got the ropes on pellets. They still far prefer the "real" food.

Will I see the same activity from a Palmas Palmas', or is it only Palmas Polli's?

What are the sizes on the FishOnlineRUs fish?

Some of the wet spot ones are 3" which is very small. The only other thing is that I thiiiink the lap will grow more quickly, so you might get all of your upper jaws first (all but the lap) and grow them out before you get a lower jaw.

Palmas Palmas and Polli are different in both activity level and looks, however I will say that in a rare situation, my Polli was purchased recently from a tank in their store that was labeled TR Palmas Palmas... so you might get a Polli. Not sure because their shipped fish are in a different holding location and the ones in the store may have been the only ones mislabeled.

The smaller polys stay on the brace, and the mota can't get to them. I have even smaller fish that swim in the water column (1-3") and he hasn't touched them.

Yes. The Mota has actually been one of my most peaceful fish. My two male angels shown more aggression.
